So you've got a DSLR and you love taking photos but you want to take things to the next level. Maybe you're ready to master the dreaded "Manual" Setting, or want to improve your technique and composition? Maybe you've got all the gear but no idea how to use it and want guidance on what lenses to use and when? Maybe once you've taken your amazing photos you don't know where to start with editing? Or maybe you're just struggling to make your photos look like you'd envisioned in your head?
If you answered yes to any or all of the questions above then this workshop is for you.
Over the course of one day we will look at the following areas:

- The Importance of Aperture
- Best Focusing practices
- Composition & Technique
- Finding your style
- Understanding natural light
- Editing in Lightroom and Mobile Apps
- Live Editing tutorial with before and afters
- Gear talk - What you really need.
- Photo walk with practical tips and advice from me.
- Portraiture tutorial
The course will take place at Gower Group Art Studio, in Penclawdd, overlooking the Estuary. It is a beautiful classroom space to inspire learning and the picturesque surroundings of the estuary make a perfect canvas for us to work with on our photo walk. Putting into practice all that we have learnt.
The workshop is on Saturday 20th January, 10am - 4pm. Bring a packed lunch, but drinks and refreshments will be provided.
