Lucy and Callum's Wedding in Pembrey Country Park

On the 24th July 2021 Lucy and Callum got married in St Mary’s Church in Burry Port. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, they had an amazing day celebrating their love, and it was honestly one of the most joyous weddings I’ve had the privilege of capturing.

Bridal Preparations

Lucy and her Bridesmaids all got ready at her family home in Burry Port. It was such a calm morning of everyone helping each other to get ready and was a lovely relaxed way for Lucy to start her wedding day.

The Ceremony at St Mary’s Church, Burry Port

The ceremony took place at St Mary’s Church, and due to restrictions numbers were limited, but it was still a beautiful and meaningful ceremony and they were even allowed to sing the hymns they had selected. It so was lovely to hear people singing together again.

The Couple’s Portraits

We headed into Pembrey country park quickly after the ceremony to get some portraits of just Lucy and Callum., before heading to join their guests at the reception. One of Lucy’s cousins actually made her jewellery as well as the lovely cufflinks Callum is wearing, and Maggie Cross made their rings. They looked amazing.

The Reception

For their reception Lucy and Callum had a marquee in a friend’s field next to Pembrey Country Park. They had an amazing buffet provided by Caffi Lolfa, and The Shire Coffee company had a truck there to provide drinks for all their guests. Alleyway coffee provided the favours (yes you read that right, the guests got coffee as their favours!), and Gower Brewery ran the bar, with the band Vertaal providing wonderful entertainment for all the guests.

I found it so hard to select just a few of these images for the blog, it was honestly such a joyous celebration and I can’t help but grin as I look through these photos and think back on their amazing wedding.
