Rory and Sally's Wedding at Folly Farm Centre in Bristol

On Saturday 22nd June 2019, Rory and Sally got married at the Folly Farm Centre in Bristol. They were lucky enough to have a beautiful sunny day for their wedding, which meant they were able to have the wedding ceremony outside. The venue itself is stunning, and is surrounded by impressive views and natural beauty. It made the perfect setting for Rory and Sally’s special day, and I’m sure you will agree once you have seen the photos, that it really was a beautiful wedding.

Bridal Preparations

Sally chose to get ready at her home, surrounded by her Bridesmaids, her family and her daughter. Sally was impressively calm all morning, and it was a very relaxed atmosphere for everyone to get ready in.

The Outdoor Ceremony

There are a few options for where you can have your ceremony at Folly Farm. Last year you may remember I had a wedding where the couple got married in the apple orchard, Rory and Sally chose to get married in the courtyard, which has the most amazing views over the Chew Valley below. It was such a lovely ceremony, and so sweet to see their daughter being part of it and enjoying it all too.

The Couple’s Portraits

Folly has no shortage of amazing places to go for couple’s portraits. We went for a lovely relaxed stroll through the woods, and I couldn’t resist returning to this beautiful old tree they have there, it really is something to behold.

The Group Photographs

We did a few formal group photos, and a few fun ones too. The Groomsmen were eager to pick up the Bride, and the Bridesmaid’s couldn’t resist having a turn picking up the Groom too.

The Reception

For the sit down meal they had a beautifully decorated marquee, and in the evening they had a live soul band in the barn. There were quite a few children at the wedding, so Rory and Sally hired The Wedding Sitting Company to come and look after the children, so the parents were able to fully relax and enjoy the wedding.

It was a such a fun filled wedding, and a truly joyous occasion. It was a privilege to be a part of.
