Emily and Martin's Wedding at Rosedew Farm

On Saturday 28th September I had the privilege of photographing Emily and Martin’s wedding at Rosedew Farm, in South Wales.

Emily and Martin are two of the loveliest people, and their deep love for each other is so evident for all to see. Their wedding was centred around their deep love and faith in God and it was really humbling to be a part of that and to be able to capture it for them.

Bridal Preparations at Rosedew Farm

Emily got ready at one of the cottages at Rosedew, surrounded by her bridesmaids.

The Ceremony at The Gate Art’s Centre in Cardiff

The wedding ceremony took place at the church Emily and Martin are a part of; Vineyard church, which meets at The Gate Art’s centre in Cardiff. So many of their family, friends and congregation were there to give them their support and to stand with them as they made their lifelong commitment to one another.

The Couple’s Portraits

After the ceremony we took a little drive to the beach at Llantwit major for some more intimate couple’s portraits. Always one of the highlights of the day for me!

The Group Photographs

It was actually a very rainy wedding day, but we got lucky with a dry spell and managed to adapt the plans to ensure we got a few group photos before the next downpour came.

The Reception at Rosedew Farm

Rosedew Farm is fast becoming one of my favourite venues, and it did not disappoint on this occasion. The barn always provides the perfect backdrop, and Emily did such an amazing job decorating it. She even drew the most wonderful sketches for each of the table centrepieces. Plus they had a Sylvanian family’s bride and groom as cake toppers, and to be honest, I’m so jealous I didn’t think of it for my own wedding!

As well as a really fun Ceilidh, they also chose to have a sparkler exit, which was really good fun!
