Ben and Sarah's Wedding at Sosban Llanelli

At the beginning of August Ben and Sarah got married at the beautiful Sosban venue in Llanelli. It was such a lovely wedding, and it was an honour to be a part of it. From their two gorgeous flower girls, (one of whom was their Daughter) to the most stunning flower and foliage arrangements by the Bride's brother, to a caravan filled with cake, this really was a very unique and special Wedding.

Bridal Preparations

Sarah got ready at her home with her two Bridesmaids and flower girls. I really like being there for Bridal preparations as there is a real buzz in the air as the day that everyone has been planning for so long is finally here.

The Ceremony

With a huge window at the front, gorgeous exposed stone walls, twinkly lights strung around the room, and the stunning flowers arranged lovingly by the Bride's Brother, Sosban transformed into the perfect space for a Wedding ceremony.

The Couple's Portraits

Whilst I take a documentary style approach to Wedding photography, capturing your day as it unfolds naturally and giving little to no direction, I do love to take a little bit of time with my couples to sneak away for a few photos of just them. With a little direction, I aim to provide you with a selection of  images that are not only "profile picture" worthy, but "frame them on the wall for all to see" worthy! On this occasion we drove over the road to Llanelli sea front for some photos on the beach, and later took some time for a few family photos in the most amazing caravan you've ever seen, with their daughter and flower girl, Rosa.

The Caravan was provided by the Bride's Maid of Honour Helen, and the cakes were made by Sosban. You can find out more about this incredible Caravan and it's story here.

The Groups

I always meet with my Couple's about a month before the wedding, and more often than not group photos are at the bottom of everyone's list of priorities for the big day, but most of my couple's do opt to have a small selection. Knowing how frustrating it can be for guests at weddings to be waiting around for what feels like hours for the group photos to finally be over, I keep things short and sweet, whilst making sure you have some lovely photos of your favourite people on your special day.

The Reception

The main room at Sosban transitioned seamlessly into a space for the three course meal (which I can assure you was exquisite) and later into a space for dancing with a live performace from The Raspberry Jam. The large outdoor area also made an ideal space for guests to gather throughout the day (and to eat all of those amazing cakes in the aforementioned caravan)

Flowers and Styling by the Bride's Brother Ryan. You can find out more here.

It truly was a beautiful Wedding, and I am so grateful to Ben and Sarah for allowing me to be a part of their special day.

You can find out more about the venue here.

If you want to find out more about hiring me as your Wedding Photographer, then head over to the Wedding Photography section of my website. Be sure to get in touch to tell me all about your plans.
