Walking the Wales Coast Path - Pembrokeshire - Tenby to Lydstep

Here are some photos from my walk from Tenby to Lydstep. For this walk you have to check the firing range is open and safe to walk across. It was quite a long time ago now, but my main memory of this walk was how long it took to walk across Tenby South beach, and how underwhelming Lydstep was, considering it is a popular holiday spot. But that is probably why I wasn’t so keen. I like my beaches empty.

At one point I detoured off the path, following a sign for a farm shop, and was rewarded with some delicious treats to take away. Well worth a visit if you are doing this section.

It was a fairly easy section and so it wasn’t too daunting to have to turn around and do it all again for the walk back.
