Walking the Wales Coast Path - Pembrokeshire - Abermawr to Porthgain

On the 3rd May 2023 I had a lovely walk from Abermawr to Porthgain. I used the amazing Fflecsi bus service to get to the start of my walk, and then walked the 8 miles back to Porthgain.

Abermawr.

I kept waiting for this section to get a bit less stunning, as it surely couldn’t keep up that level of beauty for the whole 8 miles, but it did. A lovely stretch and well worth a visit.

I didn’t get chance to blog this walk immediately after I did it, so my memory is now a tad hazy. I remember quite a few “drop and bops” which is my name for those painful downhills that are immediately followed by a steep uphill simply taking you back to the same height you were at before. However, that was a lot of pleasant flat walking too, and as I mentioned before, endless pretty views.
